Christer Sponbeck, CEO of Zap Electric, embarked on his electrical journey straight out of high school in 1991 under his uncle’s mentorship. Following a stint in an Army National Guard  Medivac unit from 1992 to 1996, Christer’s dedication led him to earn his Master Electrician license in 2005, solidifying his expertise in the field.

When he’s not leading his dedicated team, Christer is an avid enthusiast of skiing, motorcycles, sports, and the great outdoors. He also has a passion for teaching others, as he dedicates time every week to teach preparation classes for the electrical exams.

For Christer, Zap Electric is more than a business—it’s a family affair, with three of his sons actively contributing to its success, ensuring a continuing legacy of excellence in electrical services.
